I am honored to have a licensing contract with Gocongo Enterprises located in Africa for my giraffe drawing. My giraffe image will be used on packaging of a maize breakfast product distributed though out Africa. The product is named Twiga which means giraffe in the Swahili language. Gocongo is a strongly growing horticultural farm, based near Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo. To find out more please visit https://www.facebook.com/gocongofarm and http://www.foundation.gocongo.cd/ A special thanks to Aziz Khabirpour, Gocongo SARL, for his work on this project. It's a great product and I am honored to be a part of it.

I just finished this commissioned painting of a Virginia homestead. The homestead was located in Ballamy Manor, Virginia Beach Virginia. I had to work from an old photograph that was faded to sepia tones. After consulting with a great aunt, I was able to get information on the color of the house and shutters. The rest of the colors were from my own memories of living on a farm in Ohio. SOLD

This is the photograph that I had to work from to creat the 18" x 24" painting shown above.

Bluebird in Spring

An Eastern Bluebird perched on a fence post, among clusters of apple blossoms with lady bugs and dews drops, signals the arrival of spring.

This painting was created on a 11" x 14" watercolor canvas using acrylic paints.
